What is the difference between marketing and transactional email?
Marketing email goes to a segment of your audience, like a newsletter or product update, and always carries an unsubscribe link. Transactional email goes to one person because of something they did, like a password reset or a receipt. Reloops sends both from one platform.
How do I send transactional email from my app?
Create the email in the editor, generate an API key in Settings and send a POST request to the transactional endpoint with the address and the email id. You can fill data variables from your app on each send.
Can I send email from my own domain?
Yes. Add your domain in Settings and Reloops shows the DNS records to add at your registrar. Once they verify, your emails go out from your domain with SPF and DKIM.
What is a lifecycle email workflow?
A workflow sends emails automatically as contacts move through your product. It starts from a trigger like a new contact or an event from your app, then waits, checks conditions and sends the next email.
How much does Reloops cost?
Plans are $19 a month for 20,000 emails, $59 for 50,000 and $129 for 100,000, plus taxes where they apply. Plans include every feature. Past your monthly emails, new sends wait in the queue until the next month.
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan is paid, which keeps sending reputation healthy for everyone on the platform.
Can I move my contacts from another email tool?
Yes. Export your contacts as a CSV from tools like Mailchimp, Brevo or Customer.io and import the file into Reloops, or add contacts through the API.
